The food way pretty good, but the service was outstanding. I ate the chicken Tikka masala and my boyfriend ate the buffet (which I also tried). Our waitress gave me the option to taste a few things from the buffet, which had buttered tandoori chicken, but decided to go with the chicken Tikka masala instead. The buttered chicken definitely has a distinct buttery taste, less spice, and the chicken tastes different (because it's cooked differently). The chicken tikka masala had a more herbal and earthy taste, but I think needed more additives. I also think that both dishes were too milky/yogurty tasting, but still good. As for the service, our waitress was super attentive, and was definetly worth a 25% tip. In addition to allowing me to tate things, she also offered to exchange my chicken tikka masala because it was a bit too spicy for me. Although I didn't take her up on her offer, I've found that most restraunts/waitresses are not as friendly and I greatly appreciated this gesture. In reference to the previous owners that owned this restaurant by another name, Masala has significantly improved it's service, but the food quality has slightly declined. In general, I think Masala has become a much better restraunt that I would gladly revisit.

Best Indian buffet that we have been to in Daytona. The only thing it was missing was something spicy on the bar. That being said, both my husband and I loved it.

I ordered chicken biryani to go and considering the place is run by a Telugu guy, the bland and tasteless biryani baffled me. Not good !

Nothing outstanding, I expect Indian food to be property seasoned, it's obvious that it is prepared for the Volusia palate. Price was a little high for what was offered. Their advantage is there is almost no other Indian restaurants in the area.

This place was surprisingly awful. The food at best was bland but over perfumed. There was cartilage in the chicken (GROSS!!!) in the Butter Chicken, the curried broccoli tasted like it was steamed and dusted with curry. I was shocked, I love good Indian food and this was absolutely the worst I ever had. The naan was however, good as was the Raaita. But the rest....OMG, going back to Orlando!

Just dined at Masala Indian Cuisine today and have not been there in a few months.. Was pleased to see that the buffet is now in an efficient style using buffet equipment, which was better than the old way of lifting up covers on each dish (although did love the look of the old style). The food was very delicious, the service so so (could get more happy people) and the ambiance the same as always. Wish they would change up the Chicken Makhani aka Indian Butter Chicken instead of everyday, as I sure miss the Masala Chicken from the old establishment.. And "hello", the name of your restaurant is Masala - go figure.. Other thing that dropped my rating from 5 stars to 4, is that the naan bread is prepared in bulk, stuck on the buffet and dries out and gets a bit stale.. Another thing I miss about the previous establishment - it was FRESH FRESH FRESH delivered to your table. Overall Masala is a pretty good choice for Indian in our area..

Wow! Curry goat at a buffet, are you kidding me? Everything was delicious, fresh and ample. Yeah, the nan bread had been sitting a little too long, but I still ate more than I should have. And what a deal, all you can eat lunch for $9.99. We're going back.

As a business student I enjoy finding a fault an capitalizing on it; however, in the case of this restaurant I cannot find fault. The Indian cuisine is excellent and has sufficient variety. The service scape of the restaurant at far as atmosphere goes has appropriate music and decor.

Im an Indian, trust me. Although the variety presented in the lunch buffet was good, none of the food items were good quality or good tasting. Everything lacked something, taste wise. The chutneys and onion pakodas were good though. One of my friends liked the chilly chicken too. Some of them liked the tandoori chicken. One of them liked the gulab jamun. I personally didn't like anything much. Was expecting a lot looking at the buffet but it couldn't deliver anything at all. If this is the first place you have Indian food at, please trust me, Indian food is way better than that

Very good food, fresh as always. They should include tea as part of buffet as all other Indian restaurants

Lunch buffet seems to be going downhill. It was really delicious even about a month back. Good flavors and spicy. Lately it is more bland. I am not sure what is happening but they should bring it back to the way it was when they first opened.

The food quality is good. Many varieties for vegetarian guests. I came here expecting the worse based on talk about the previous restaurant Bombay; nothing bad about this new place. I can finally have Indian close to home.

This place was surprising good. I didn't have a lot of expectations when I went to this restaurant and would've never stepped foot inside this place if it wasn't for my boyfriend who loves trying new and exotic foods. I love trying new and exotic food but I never got the vibe from Indian food, but I can't have an opinion unless I try it right? Well I amazed at what I experienced at this restaurant. Didn't know that they also had a buffet so I went for that since it gave me the option to try multiple items rather than one ordered meal. The food was delicious and the service was very nice. Although the place is somewhat really quiet, it provides a really romantic and intimate atmosphere. I would say give this place a chance because you definitely will not regret it.

As is always the case when we try Indian buffets on vacations, this place pales in comparison to our hometown (Rochester, NY) favorite, Tandoor of India. Mild flavors, bland naan, and chai tea costs extra. We went ahead and got the tea because the waitress/hostess said we could get one free refill each. However, when the time came to request our refills, she was busy so I asked the owner. He told us NO REFILL on the tea! When I told him that she said we could, he spoke sternly to her in their language. We did end up getting the refills, but this lowered our already so-so opinion of the place. Can't wait to get back home and go to Tandoor!
